Massage

Massage therapy involves the manipulation of soft-tissue to alleviate pain and discomfort, promote healing, enhance muscle relaxation, improve circulation and help create a sense of well-being. In addition to physical relaxation, massage also helps to promote mental relaxation, relieve stress and anxiety, improve mood and aid sleep.

Massage therapy is widely used and recognised as a safe therapeutic modality with few risks or adverse effects.

Massage incorporates various long and specific strokes given through the hands, soft tissue of the forearm and sometimes the elbow. Methods used can include Trigger point therapy, Myofascial release, soft tissue release and stretching.

Laura Lattimer and Katie Melson, are our specialised massage therapists here at the Anderida Practice. They both come with years of experience of helping people maintain optimum health whilst giving them the experience of deep relaxation and tension relief.
